Get the Look of Solid Metal for Less
Genuine metal sheets are laminated onto acrylic or PVC plastic, offering the beauty of solid metal for a fraction of the weight and a fraction of the cost.
Foam is on the cutting edge of sign technology, offering a depth that metal can’t. Foam signs can be carved up to six inches deep to create any logo or lettering you want. It can then be painted any color.
Acrylic is another option for metal signs. Metallic paint adheres to it to produce the look of solid metal without the cost of solid metal.
The Process
At Metal Logos, we create our metal signs by cutting out thin sheets of your choice of finished metals and solder them together with your custom logo or lettering. The actual lettering will be hollow, but it will appear thick and it’s done with a high level of precision. Seams will be difficult to detect by anyone other than a signage professional. Hollow signs are much lighter and so, less expensive.
Wide Range of Looks
Metals can be finished to create many different looks. For example, we can give a sign a satiny appearance with polished edges. Swirling and antique-like rusting finishes are also available.
* It’s recommended that all our aluminum and metal signs be treated with a clear coating to ensure their longevity … “We do that for You !”
